Our Primary Voice (OPV) is an Oregon nonprofit organization and registered for tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This privacy policy explains how we use information that you may provide while visiting our website. OPV may modify this policy from time to time; please check this page when revisiting this website. By using this site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Information
When using our site we may ask for your contact information, including your name, address, occupation, employer, telephone number and/or e-mail address. Additionally, we may obtain information about you from outside sources and add it to or combine it with the information we collect through this site. We use this information to operate this site and if requested by you, to send news and information to you, solicit your participation in OPV programs, events and activities, and obtain and confirm RSVP’s to events and programs. We may use your e-mail address to send such information by e-mail.
OPV will not provide your e-mail address or any of your personal information to any other person or organization, for any purpose, except (1) to companies that assist us in maintaining this site but only for purposes of providing services to OPV and with the strict requirement that any such company will never itself have the right to contact you for any reason, (2) to comply with applicable law or legal requirements (for example, a lawful subpoena); to protect our rights or property, or to protect our supporters from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct; or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of records, or (3) to comply with our financial disclosure policy, below.
For petitions and surveys you sign or complete, we anonymize the date and will treat your name, city, state, and comments as private information – for example, we may provide compilations of petitions and surveys to elected officials and legislators or to the press but the data will be disassociated from individuals. In no case will we disclose your name, address, email address or phone number without your specific permission.

Financial Disclosure Policy
Our Primary Voice believes strongly in public disclosure of the financing of organizations participating in the political process. We will voluntarily disclose the names of all donors to OPV. Children
OPV complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. OPV does not solicit and does not knowingly accept personally identifying information from any person under 13 years of age. Visitors to this site who are under 13 years of age should not use this site except under the supervision and with the assistance of their parent or legal guardian and should never submit any personally identifying information to the site. For example, visitors under 13 years of age should not make donations or take any actions on or through this site.
If we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as possible.
